LAMS-GWEP Graduate Assistant Making Strides for Older Adults

Julia Trahan is a Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) graduate student who just successfully defended her thesis, titled: “Aggressive Behaviors Related to Delirium in Hospitalized Older Adults: A Systematic Review”. Julia’s research shines a light on the important topic of delirium in hospitalized older adults. Ms. Trahan is a graduate assistant working with the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program grant funded project who will graduate in May 2024. LA-GWEP is thankful for all Julia’s hard work and dedication to the geriatric population. Julia’s thesis committee included Dr. Laura Ainsworth (chair), Dr. Scott Wilks (co-chair), and Dr. Ebony Williams.
